‘I Let You In’: ‘Talk to Me’ Gets an Immersive New Spinoff Series in 2027

The Talk to Me universe is expanding beyond the big screen with I Let You In, a new immersive horror series coming exclusively to Meta Quest headsets and Meta VR Glasses in Spring 2027. The first official poster has also been revealed.

The six-episode series takes the supernatural concept of Talk to Me into an entirely new setting and format, introducing a new group of characters who discover the terrifying consequences of using the infamous embalmed hand to communicate with the dead.

Filming wrapped in Spain earlier this year, and I Let You In is currently in post-production.

What Is ‘I Let You In’ About?

I Let You In follows a group of young travelers who head to Ibiza looking for the ultimate party experience. Their search for increasingly intense thrills leads them to the Hand and its ability to conjure spirits.

What begins as a supernatural rush soon becomes something far more dangerous as the travelers become addicted to the experience and push their encounters with the spirit world too far.

The series brings the possession-based horror of Talk to Me into an immersive 3D format, allowing viewers to experience the story through Meta’s virtual reality technology.

‘I Let You In’ Cast and Crew

The cast includes Aubri Ibrag (The Buccaneers), Charlotte Maggi (Rebel Moon), Sofia Hublitz (Ozark), Julio Peña (Berlin), Raff Law (Masters of the Air), and Charlie Hiscock (Ted Lasso).

All six episodes are directed by Craig William Macneill, whose credits include The Terror and Them. Trent Atherton (The Wheel) wrote the series from a story pitch developed with showrunner Darren Brandl.

I Let You In was commissioned by Meta and produced by XRTV. The immersive series was created specifically for Meta Quest headsets and the new Meta VR Glasses.

‘Talk to Me’ Creators Return

Talk to Me directors Danny and Michael Philippou are executive producers on the new series through Blue Bear. Other producers include Darren Brandl and Jack Davis for XRTV, Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton for Causeway Films, and Andreas Michael Wentz and Juan Antonio Cano Trujillo for Sur Film. Jeff Rich produces for Meta.

Brandl says the Talk to Me concept is particularly suited to immersive storytelling because the original movie centers on young people chasing the euphoria of supernatural possession before discovering the horrifying consequences.

The original Talk to Me was released in 2022 and became a breakout horror hit after premiering at Sundance. The movie follows a group of friends who discover an embalmed hand capable of allowing them to summon and communicate with spirits.

The Philippou brothers are also developing a direct sequel to Talk to Me, meaning the franchise is continuing to expand across multiple formats.

I Let You In is scheduled to debut on Meta Quest and Meta VR Glasses in Spring 2027.
