‘Yellowjackets’ Season 4 Trailer Teases Final Homecoming Ahead of November Premiere

The Yellowjackets are heading home to Wiskayok, but their return promises anything but a happy reunion. Paramount+ has released the trailer for the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets, setting the stage for one last descent into psychological horror, buried secrets, and bloodshed.

The final season premieres Friday, November 20, exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets follows a talented high school girls’ soccer team whose plane crashes in the remote northern wilderness. The survivors are forced to fight for their lives, gradually descending from a tight-knit team into increasingly savage factions.

The series also follows the survivors nearly 25 years later, as they struggle to rebuild their lives while confronting the horrific events they have spent decades trying to leave behind.

What to Expect From the Final Season

Here’s the official synopsis for Season 4:

“The Yellowjackets race to bury their sins before rescue arrives — but the Wilderness has its own ideas about who gets out alive.

“After returning to Wiskayok, their secrets fester under the growing weight of what they’ve done and who they’ve become. Meanwhile in the present, two of the Yellowjackets prepare to kill one of their own as an old flame roars back to town with plans all their own. Turns out not every homecoming is a joyous one, and this one’s going to sting.”

The returning cast includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess, and Hilary Swank.

Guest stars include June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun, and Dulé Hill.

With the survivors finally returning home, the final season promises to bring the show’s two timelines toward a bloody conclusion. As the new trailer suggests, escaping the wilderness may not mean escaping what happened there.
