‘The Containment’ Trailer Darkness Descends in Gia Hunter Horror

A young girl descends into darkness in the trailer for ‘The Containment‘, a supernatural horror set to terrorize theaters on January 23 via Level 33 Entertainment.

Fresh off her breakout role in Primate, Gia Hunter stars as Caroline Cobbler, a troubled teen who becomes the vessel for a malevolent and terrifying entity.

After the tragic death of her father, Caroline finds herself possessed by a demon, and when her desperate mother calls in the church, they discover a force far deadlier—and far more cunning—than anything they could have imagined.

The cast also features Charlotte Hunter (American Psycho), Fernanda Romero (The Eye), Jack Gouldbourne (Fighting with My Family), and Alice Coulthard (The Last Ship), all navigating the escalating horrors surrounding Caroline’s possession.

Directors Jack Zagha Kababie and Yossy Zagha Kababie helm the film from a script co-written by David Desola (The Platform), promising a chilling blend of psychological dread and supernatural terror.

If you’re ready for a story where grief, fear, and demonic possession collide, The Containment is set to deliver nightmares straight to the big screen.

Born in December, the darkest and coldest month of the year, Francesco Monti developed a passion for all things horror from an early age. A lifelong horror aficionado, his love for films, books, and the darker side of storytelling eventually led him into filmmaking, with a focus on horror, thriller, and sci-fi. In May 2022, Francesco turned that lifelong passion into GoreCulture — a platform created not only to bring horror fans closer to the films, stories, and culture they love, but to give a voice and valuable exposure to talented filmmakers, creators, and artists whose work deserves to be discovered, regardless of how established they are.
