Pay to Die horror-comedy starring Robert Carradine coming to Tubi

PAY TO DIE, the new horror-comedy spoofing crowdfunding and DIY filmmaking, is heading to Tubi just in time for the Halloween season. The film will begin streaming on the platform October 7.

Directed by Shawn C. Phillips and Lauren Francesca, PAY TO DIE is already available to watch on Amazon and Fandango through distributor BayView Entertainment.

The horror-comedy features one of the final screen appearances from the late Robert Carradine, best known for Revenge of the Nerds and Lizzie McGuire. Carradine leads a cast that includes former Saturday Night Live cast member Jeff Richards, Bai Ling, James Duval, Ken Davitian, Angel Salazar, Joe Estevez, Lorelei Linklater, and Kato Kaelin.

Richards also served as a co-producer on the film and contributed music to the project.

As its title suggests, PAY TO DIE takes aim at the world of crowdfunding and shoestring filmmaking, blending horror and comedy into a story built around the increasingly bizarre lengths filmmakers can go to in order to get their projects made.

With its October 7 debut, PAY TO DIE will be available on Tubi throughout the Halloween season.

Born in December, the darkest and coldest month of the year, Francesco Monti developed a passion for all things horror from an early age. A lifelong horror aficionado, his love for films, books, and the darker side of storytelling eventually led him into filmmaking, with a focus on horror, thriller, and sci-fi. In May 2022, Francesco turned that lifelong passion into GoreCulture — a platform created not only to bring horror fans closer to the films, stories, and culture they love, but to give a voice and valuable exposure to talented filmmakers, creators, and artists whose work deserves to be discovered, regardless of how established they are.
