‘Breeder’ Horror Movie Moves to New October Release Date

Shudder and IFC’s deranged Breeder is moving closer to Halloween, with the upcoming horror movie now set to hit theaters on October 28.

The feature directorial debut of Alex Goyette was previously scheduled for October 16 but has been pushed back nearly two weeks.

In Breeder, an eccentric poodle breeder lures a broke college student to her remote ranch with the promise of research funding. But once he arrives, he discovers there’s a disturbing catch.

Daniel Doheny, Dot Marie Jones, Maddie Phillips, and Tanaya Beatty star in the twisted horror movie.

Breeder premiered earlier this year at Tribeca, where it quickly attracted attention for its bizarre premise and disturbing villain. Dot Marie Jones plays Patti, the eccentric breeder at the center of the nightmare.

The film has been rated R for disturbing material, violence and bloody images, sexual content, graphic nudity, and language.

Breeder hits theaters October 28 from IFC and Shudder.
