‘The Teenage Vampire’ Trailer Unleashes a Bloody New Horror Comedy From Lionsgate

Lionsgate has released a new trailer for The Teenage Vampire, a bloody horror comedy about a young woman who discovers her new landlords are ancient vampires.

The film follows Sandra, a straight-laced young woman who moves into a stylish bungalow in the Hollywood Hills expecting a life filled with parties and romance. Instead, she discovers that her landlords are centuries-old vampires—and her first party quickly turns into a bloody massacre.

As the night descends further into chaos, Sandra begins uncovering increasingly horrifying secrets surrounding her new home.

Starring Jazlyn Nicolette Sward, Kelly Lynn Reiter (Deadlock, Guns Up, Mojave Diamonds), James Chalke (Renegades, Don’t Kill It, Dead Trigger), Spice Williams-Crosby, Luke Gregory Crosby, Courtney Akbar (Boneyard, Clown Fear, Ace & the Christmas Miracle), and Michael Cervantes (Night Carnage, The Salem Chronicles, 7 Days to Hell), The Teenage Vampire appears to be embracing a more playful side of the genre.

The trailer gives off shades of Fright Night, with a young protagonist discovering that something very wrong is happening next door, while mixing the vampire mythology with plenty of bloodshed and dark comedy.

The Teenage Vampire arrives on Digital October 27 from Lionsgate.
