During the Day of the Devs Game Awards Digital Showcase, Eldamar Studio tore back the curtain on its debut nightmare: Lucid Falls, a dread-soaked horror adventure steeped in uncanny atmosphere and surreal decay. Powered by Unreal Engine, the reveal arrived with a twisted first trailer—glimpses of dream-warped corridors, feverish colors, and the abominations lurking just out of the light.
Headed to Steam, Lucid Falls traps players in a lucid dream that’s curdled into a living nightmare. Reality bends, fractures, and mutates as you claw your way through grotesque dreamscapes, manipulating gravity, space, and time to carve paths through the impossible. Mood is the marrow of the experience—haunting vistas, oppressive ambience, and a visual direction that bleeds unease into every corner.
“Lucid Falls is a very personal project for us,” says Yurii Radkevych, Creative Director at Eldamar Studio. “We’re eager to peel back more layers as development continues, but for now, our debut trailer should give you a clear taste of the atmosphere and visual identity we’re crafting.”
