Games We Play Sets December Release With First Look at Casey Cott and Margot Pitts

The upcoming psychological thriller Games We Play has unveiled its first look at stars Casey Cott (Riverdale) and Margot Pitts (FBI), ahead of its December release.

Written by Pitts, Cott, and Molly Scharlin Ben-Hamoo, the film will arrive in select theaters and on VOD on December 4, 2026. Dylan McTee (Wrong Turn) and Adam Faison (Hellraiser) also star.

Games We Play follows Imogen (Pitts), who joins her boyfriend Jack (Cott) and his two childhood best friends, Gage (McTee) and Freddie (Faison), for a weekend getaway. Hoping to fit in with the group, Imogen soon finds herself caught up in a tournament of increasingly high-stakes games.

As the competition takes a sinister turn, her desire for acceptance begins to come at a dangerous cost. Forced to question her own identity, instincts, sanity, and safety, Imogen discovers that winning the approval of those around her may be more dangerous than she ever imagined.

“Games We Play is a timely examination of the universal struggle for social survival, where the desire to belong can become just as dangerous as the fight to stay alive,” says co-writer and executive producer Molly Scharlin Ben-Hamoo.

Ben-Hamoo also praised director Rachael Dahl for bringing the psychological thriller to life, expressing excitement about the film’s partnership with Vertical Entertainment and Blue Fox Entertainment.

“Games We Play delivers the kind of suspenseful, character-driven thriller that we’re excited to bring to international buyers,” added Blue Fox Entertainment president Lisa Gutberlet, who praised Dahl’s perspective and the film’s cast.

Taryn Gates and Raza Rizvi produce the psychological thriller.

Born in December, the darkest and coldest month of the year, Francesco Monti developed a passion for all things horror from an early age. A lifelong horror aficionado, his love for films, books, and the darker side of storytelling eventually led him into filmmaking, with a focus on horror, thriller, and sci-fi. In May 2022, Francesco turned that lifelong passion into GoreCulture — a platform created not only to bring horror fans closer to the films, stories, and culture they love, but to give a voice and valuable exposure to talented filmmakers, creators, and artists whose work deserves to be discovered, regardless of how established they are.
