‘Victorian Psycho’: Maika Monroe Unleashes Hell in New Official Poster for Upcoming Horror Movie

Maika Monroe in Victorian Psycho featured on the new official poster for the upcoming 2026 horror movie

Maika Monroe (It Follows, Longlegs) is ready to unleash some Victorian-era madness in the upcoming psychological horror thriller Victorian Psycho, and Bleecker Street has unveiled a brand-new official poster for the film.

Victorian Psycho will arrive exclusively in theaters on November 13, 2026.

The new poster, which was first revealed by Letterboxd, puts Monroe front and center as the film’s mysterious and increasingly unhinged protagonist.

Monroe stars as Winifred Notty, an eccentric governess who takes a position at a secluded Gothic manor. Before long, a series of increasingly disturbing events causes those around her to question exactly who Winifred really is—and what she may be capable of.

Joining Monroe are Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho), Jason Isaacs (Honey Bunch), Ruth Wilson, Amy De Bruhn, and Hamnet breakout Jacobi Jupe.

Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) directs the film from a screenplay by author Virginia Feito (Mrs. March), adapting Feito’s novel of the same name.

The movie is produced by Dan Kagan (Longlegs) and Sebastien Raybaud (Greenland: Migration).

Early reactions have already praised Monroe’s performance, with the actress taking on another deeply disturbed character. In her review for Bloody Disgusting, Meagan Navarro described the film as a bloody and wildly entertaining showcase for Monroe, writing that “Carnage becomes pretty dang delightful in Monroe’s capable hands.”

With its Gothic setting, twisted humor, and increasingly violent protagonist, Victorian Psycho looks to deliver a very different kind of period horror when it arrives this November.

Victorian Psycho is rated R for “strong bloody violence and brief sexual material.”
