A24 has released the official trailer for Slayground, the new horror thriller from Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room, Rebel Ridge). Previously titled October, the film follows a haunted attraction employee who wakes up surrounded by dead co-workers, triggering a desperate search for answers as a statewide manhunt closes in.

The newly released trailer offers a first look at the Halloween-set thriller, which begins with a mass casualty event at a haunted attraction on October 24.

What Is Slayground About?

A24 has also unveiled the official synopsis for the film:

“Scare-actor ‘Metal Mike’ Graves wakes up in a haunted attraction surrounded by the dead bodies of his co-workers with no memory of how they got there. As a state-wide manhunt closes in, he races to uncover the truth – even if the trail leads straight back to him.”

Described as a Halloween-set fugitive thriller, Slayground combines a grisly crime mystery with the atmosphere of a haunted attraction, placing its central character at the heart of a massacre he cannot remember.
