‘Survive: The Game’ Brings a Deadly Board Game to Life
According to the official synopsis, the friends must face the horrors unleashed by the game, with their only chance of survival being to finish playing.
The premise puts a supernatural twist on the familiar horror setup of a group of friends trapped in a dangerous location. With each roll carrying potentially fatal consequences, the board game appears to be at the center of the film’s escalating terror.
The production is also being developed with franchise potential in mind, although further details about possible sequels have not been announced.

Scout Taylor-Compton Directs Her Latest Horror Movie
Taylor-Compton, known to horror fans for her role in the Halloween franchise, is directing from a screenplay she co-wrote with Kennedy. Her previous filmmaking credits include writing and directing Road to Recovery and co-directing Last Chance Motel.
The director said the film explores survival from a different perspective, drawing on her experience playing characters who must fight their way through horror stories.
“I’ve played the final girl. I spent years learning what it takes to survive a horror movie: the running, the screaming, the moment you finally turn around and fight,” Taylor-Compton said. “With Survive: The Game, I wanted to ask a different question. What if the thing chasing you isn’t outside the door? What if surviving means confronting the worst version of yourself first?”
Her comments suggest the film will explore psychological conflict alongside its supernatural premise.
