‘Evil Dead Burn’ Set to Ignite Theaters in July 2026

The Evil Dead franchise is set to return with a fresh twist. The upcoming installment, titled Evil Dead Burn, has been officially scheduled for a theatrical release on July 24, 2026. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, known for his work on Infested (Vermines), the film promises to deliver a unique and intense horror experience. Vaniček, who co-wrote the screenplay with Florent Bernard, has expressed his vision for the film, stating, “I told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.” He aims to infuse the film with a “French twist,” incorporating elements of French culture and filmmaking style. In addition to Evil Dead Burn, another untitled Evil Dead project is in development. Francis Galluppi, known for The Last Stop in Yuma County, has been hired to write and direct this separate entry in the franchise.
