Jack Hill’s iconic 1967 horror masterpiece, “Spider Baby,” is receiving an exciting remake from talented filmmaker Dustin Ferguson (known for works like “Cocaine Cougar” and “Mega Ape”), and today we are treated to the unveiling of the new trailer.

The upcoming “Spider Baby” remake promises to captivate audiences with a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern twists. The team behind the film expresses their dedication to reimagining the beloved cult classic, originally starring Sid Haig and Lon Chaney Jr., for a new generation of horror enthusiasts.

Currently in post-production, the film plans to make its grand premiere this October in Los Angeles. Ensuring a seamless connection to the original movie, Jack Hill, the director of the original “Spider Baby,” serves as the Executive Producer for this fresh project, guaranteeing a respectful homage to the cult classic’s legacy.

Fans of the original will be delighted to learn that Beverly Washburn, a prominent figure from the 1967 “Spider Baby,” returns to the remake, taking on a new role. Additionally, Ron Chaney, the grandson of legendary horror icon Lon Chaney Jr., graces the film with his presence, paying tribute to his family’s profound influence on the genre and his grandfather’s involvement in the original production.

The cast further boasts Brinke Stevens, renowned for her role in the 1982 film “Slumber Party Massacre,” and Robert Mukes, known for his appearance in “House of 1000 Corpses.”

Joining the creative team as the Creative Consultant is Jeff Burr, recognized for his work on “Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III.”
