Nicolas Cage has officially joined Dead by Daylight as a new playable survivor. The actor is featured in a new spotlight trailer that shows off his unique abilities and perks.

In the trailer, Cage plays a fictionalized version of himself who is trapped in the Fog while filming “the role of a lifetime.” He must use his acting skills and instincts to survive against the game’s terrifying killers.

Cage’s perks are all inspired by his acting career. Dramaturgy allows players to take over during moments of heightened intensity, while Scene Partner grants players a deeper insight into the killer’s thoughts and actions. Plot Twist allows players to make bold decisions that could be either risky or rewarding.

The Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage Chapter will be available for purchase on July 25th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The chapter will also include a new killer, The All-Seeing, and a new map, The Afterlife.
