‘Lies of P’ Achieves Over 1 Million Units Sold Within Its First Month of Release
In less than a month following its release, Neowiz’s innovative spin on the Pinocchio tale, “Lies of P,” has achieved remarkable sales figures in the Soulslike genre. The game developer recently disclosed that, since its debut on September 18th, the game has crossed the 1 million units sold milestone globally, encompassing both PC and console platforms.
Seungchul Kim, co-CEO of Neowiz, highlighted the significance of this achievement, noting that it underscores the potential of Korean console games on a global scale. He described “Lies of P” as a “challenging endeavor” for both Neowiz and Round8 Studio, but the remarkable results have filled them with pride.
Jiwon Choi, the Director of the game, also expressed gratitude for the reception and the fact that over 1 million players have already embarked on their journey through Krat. He conveyed the team’s excitement about the future of “Lies of P” and hinted at forthcoming announcements when the time is right.
Looking ahead, the game’s future holds the promise of downloadable content (DLC), although specific details have not been officially disclosed yet.
