Wired Productions, known for their involvement with KARMA: The Dark World, has unveiled the release date for their eagerly anticipated gory action game, Gori: Cuddly Carnage. Developed by Angry Demon Studio, the title is set to launch on August 29 across multiple platforms, including PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, digital pre-orders for the PlayStation versions will grant players early access starting from August 27.

Leo Zullo, the Managing Director of Wired Productions, expressed enthusiasm for the game, stating, “Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a nostalgic nod to the gaming era of the late 90s and early 2000s. Reflecting on the journey of bringing Gori to life, John Kalderon of Angry Demon Studio shared his excitement about sharing the game with players worldwide, expressing gratitude to the community and all involved in the project since its inception in 2020.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage delves into the narrative of Cool-Toys Inc., a company that introduces Ultra Pets, seemingly perfect companions engineered to meet every need without fail. However, unforeseen mutations twist these ideal pets into nightmare-inducing creatures, determined to eradicate humanity. To compound the crisis, the Adorable Army, led by Ultra Pets, has captured Professor Y, the creator of Gori, the protagonist, and the only human who ever showed compassion to him and his companions.

Now, Gori, accompanied by his wisecracking sentient hoverboard, F.R.A.N.K, and the somber A.I. companion, CH1-P, must embark on a mission to defeat the Adorable Army. Armed with explosive weaponry and devastating combos, players will engage in an epic battle to prevent the Adorable Army from dominating the galaxy.
