‘Ripout’ transports players to the 22nd Century, a period when humanity has successfully expanded its reach beyond Earth, establishing dominion over the solar system. However, what began as a promising interplanetary revolution soon transformed into a nightmare. The arrival of alien forces ushered in a new era of peril, requiring a desperate response from humanity. In their quest to repel these extraterrestrial threats, researchers developed a regenerative cell capable of superhuman tissue regeneration. Unexpectedly, this cell gained sentience, driving the soldiers it had saved to metamorphose into grotesque and bloodthirsty mutants.

With the very solution that was meant to safeguard humanity now jeopardizing its existence, soldiers are deployed, armed with cutting-edge biotech weaponry to combat the mutant menace. As a player, you assume the role of one of these soldiers. Equipped with your dependable biomechanical Pet Gun, you must gain a tactical edge by extracting weaponry from your adversaries. Your mission will lead you through procedurally generated derelict spaceships, where you’ll scavenge for loot and customize your character to enhance your chances of surviving the lurking dangers.
