Netflix has officially announced that the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things will premiere in 2025. Fans were also treated to a first look at the episode titles for the concluding season.
The final eight episodes of Stranger Things 5 will include:
- The Crawl
- The Vanishing Of ____
- The Turnbow Trap
- Sorcerer
- Shock Jock
- Escape from Camazotz
- The Bridge
- The Rightside Up
The core cast will return, including David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and Maya Hawke. They will be joined by new faces, most notably Linda Hamilton (Terminator), as well as Nell Fisher (Evil Dead Rise), Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux.
The season picks up after the dramatic events of the Stranger Things Season 4 finale, with the rift between Hawkins and the Upside Down fully unleashed by Vecna, the malevolent force behind the chaos. The upcoming final season will bring the action back to where it all started: Hawkins, Indiana.
While Stranger Things 5 marks the end of the series, the Stranger Things universe is far from over. The Duffer Brothers, the show’s creators, have already announced a range of exciting spin-off projects in the works. These include Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a live theatrical production set to hit Broadway next year, and an upcoming animated spin-off series.
As the Duffer Brothers teased, “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things—new mysteries, new adventures, and new unexpected heroes.” Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to the series’ epic conclusion.
