‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ – Netflix’s Competition Series Offers the Largest Cash Prize in Reality TV History
Netflix’s immensely popular series, “Squid Game,” is expanding its universe with the upcoming reality competition spinoff series titled “Squid Game: The Challenge.” The show is set to make its debut on Netflix on November 22, 2023.
This 10-episode competition series will welcome 456 real participants who will enter the game with hopes of winning a life-changing prize of $4.56 million. Notably, “Squid Game: The Challenge” boasts the distinction of featuring the largest cast and the highest prize money ever offered in a reality competition series.
In this series, “456 real players will enter the competition show in pursuit of a life-changing reward of USD $4.56 million. As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.”
“Squid Game: The Challenge” is a collaboration between Studio Lambert and The Garden, and it features an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Nicola Brown (The Garden), Tim Harcourt (Studio Lambert), John Hay (The Garden), Toni Ireland (Studio Lambert), Anna Kidd, Stephen Lambert (Studio Lambert), Louise Peet, Nia Yemoh (Studio Lambert), and Stephen Yemoh (Studio Lambert).
