According to Deadline, the decision to cancel the Paramount+ horror series from creators Robert King and Michelle King has been made, bringing an end to the show’s run after its fourth season. However, fans can find solace in the fact that the streaming platform has ordered four additional bonus episodes to tie up loose ends and provide closure for the storylines.

Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+, praised the Kings’ ability to craft engaging narratives exploring the intersection of religion and science, expressing gratitude for their work and the contributions of the talented cast and crew. Grossman expressed eagerness to see how the characters’ journeys conclude in the final season.

David Stapf, President of CBS Studios, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the Kings’ talent for storytelling and commending the cast and crew for bringing the complex characters to life throughout the series’ run.
