Following the trailblazing success of Peacock’s “Twisted Metal” series, Prime Video is set to make its mark with another beloved video game adaptation, the “Fallout” TV series.

Mark your calendars because the highly anticipated “Fallout” series is set to debut on April 12, 2024, as revealed this morning.

For an official announcement, be sure to check out the Prime Video video below.

The “Fallout” TV series is a joint venture involving Amazon Studios, the creative minds behind Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy’s Kilter Films, as well as the esteemed Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

Jonathan Nolan will take the director’s chair for the series premiere, while Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner have been entrusted with the role of showrunners.

As previously reported by Deadline, the “Fallout” universe is a captivating realm where the optimistic future envisioned by Americans in the late 1940s collides with a cataclysmic nuclear war that transpires in 2077. The allure of the “Fallout” world lies in the stark contrast between the unforgiving wasteland and the preceding generation’s utopian dreams of a brighter future powered by nuclear energy.

The stellar cast of “Fallout” includes notable talents such as Kyle MacLachlan (“Twin Peaks”), Xelia Mendes-Jones, Aaron Moten, Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), and Walton Goggins (“The Hateful Eight”).
