This highly anticipated sci-fi drama series will consist of 10 episodes and promises a thrilling narrative. Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect:

In the wake of the epic clash between Godzilla and the Titans, which left San Francisco in ruins, humanity is left to grapple with the startling revelation that monsters are real. “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” follows two siblings who follow in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s deep connection to the enigmatic organization known as Monarch.

As they chase down leads, they plunge headfirst into the realm of monsters and embark on a journey that spans generations. The story unfolds in two timelines, one in the 1950s and the other half a century later, where Monarch faces a formidable threat that Army officer Lee Shaw, portrayed by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, is privy to.

This dramatic saga explores the hidden secrets of Monarch and illustrates how monumental, world-shaking events can have far-reaching consequences that echo through the ages.

The series boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski, alongside Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell.

“Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is a collaborative effort between Chris Black, known for his work on “Severance,” “Star Trek: Enterprise,” and “Outcast,” and Matt Fraction, renowned for “Hawkeye.” The first two episodes are directed by Matt Shakman, the mastermind behind “Wandavision.” The project is produced by Legendary Television and Toho Co. Ltd.

This series marks the next exciting chapter in the MonsterVerse, which began with the 2014 release of “Godzilla” and continued with “Kong: Skull Island” in 2017 and “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” in 2019. “Godzilla vs. Kong” also contributed to this captivating cinematic universe, making “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” a thrilling addition for fans of colossal creature mayhem.
