Javier Bardem to Star in Netflix Series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”
Netflix and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming addition to the ‘Monster’ anthology series is titled “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.” Set to debut on Netflix in 2024, the streaming service has revealed the main cast for the series.
The star-studded ensemble includes Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Cooper Koch, and Nicholas Chavez. Following the remarkable success of “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” featuring Evan Peters, Netflix has greenlit two more installments of the anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
“Dahmer” achieved record-breaking success, reaching 1 billion view hours within its first 60 days on Netflix, a rare feat shared by only four series. The first iteration received critical acclaim, earning 13 Emmy nominations and four Golden Globe nominations. Evan Peters secured a Golden Globe for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television,” while Richard Jenkins and Niecy Nash also received nominations.
