Hulu Presents a Four-Episode Halloween Event for ‘American Horror Stories’ Season 3
American Horror Stories, the spine-chilling spin-off of FX’s enduring horror anthology series, American Horror Story, has become a sensation with its previous two seasons. The inaugural seven-episode season terrified viewers in 2021, followed by an eight-episode second season in 2022, both premiering in July. However, Season 3 promises a different, spookier twist.
Mark your calendars for October 26th, when all four episodes of American Horror Stories Season 3 are set to debut on Hulu. This premiere isn’t just any ordinary release; it’s being promoted as a special Halloween extravaganza, affectionately termed the “Huluween event.”
This anthology series, masterminded by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the same creative minds behind American Horror Story, offers weekly one-hour episodes, each presenting a unique horror tale. Some of these stories tie back to the original series, offering a thrilling and interconnected narrative. However, the concept of a “weekly” release will be set aside for this upcoming season.
The executive producer lineup for American Horror Stories features Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk alongside Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Jon Robin Baitz, and the late Manny Coto, director of “Dr. Giggles,” who passed away in July at the age of 62. The show is produced by 20th Television.
While details about Season 3 remain largely under wraps, we can confirm that Lisa Rinna will be part of the cast in an episode titled “Tapeworm.” Rinna is best known for her roles as Billie Reed in “Days of Our Lives” and Taylor McBride in “Melrose Place.” She gained further fame through her appearances on eight seasons of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
In previous seasons of American Horror Stories, familiar faces from the American Horror Story universe made appearances. Season 2 featured actors such as Cody Fern, Max Greenfield, Nico Greetham, Denis O’Hare, Derrick Aguis, and Gabourey Sidibe. Season 3 might bring back some of these fan-favorite actors, but we’ll have to wait for more details to emerge.
