After a first season a second one is back for ALLBLK’s Hit Supernatural Drama Series ‘Wicked City‘. In this season, the Atlanta based coven faces a challenging predicament as they grapple with the aftermath of their previous encounter with The Handler, a malevolent magical slaver portrayed by Karon Joseph Riley from ‘Ambitions.’
In the wake of their confrontation, the coven members find themselves scattered. Jordan, brought to life by Shaquita Smith (‘The Couch’), now manages The Mystic Haven, embarking on a mission alongside Angela, played by Chantal Maurice from ‘P-Valley,’ to rescue their captive friend, Sherise, portrayed by Chanel Mack from ‘The Harder They Fall.’
Meanwhile, Mona, played by Mercedez McDowell from ‘The Resident,’ has relocated, and Camille, portrayed by Taylor Polidore from ‘Snowfall,’ is in hiding under the protection of her birth mother, Claudette, portrayed by Rhonda Redette Morman from ‘Hush.’ Unbeknownst to the coven, Tabitha and Caden, embodied by Vanessa Bell Calloway and Malika Blessing, find themselves ensnared in a nightmarish realm as Claudette seeks vengeance. Additionally, Sherise is coerced into fulfilling The Handler’s sinister desires within his upscale magical supper club, known as ‘Obsidian Dream.’
The series features a remarkable ensemble cast, including India Marie Cross (‘It Wasnât Me’), Yandy Smith-Harris (‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’), Gary Anthony Sturgis (‘Diary of a Mad Black Woman’), Samantha James (‘Black and Blue’), Kamilah Meek (‘Young Rock’), Kurtis D. Glenn (‘The Assistant 3’), Clover J. Adams (‘Taylorâs Diary’), Maurice P. Kerry (‘Atlanta’), Krystal Monique Mosley (‘Dhoom 3’), Michael Silberblatt (‘Hawkeye’), Marco Reese Maldonado (‘A Killer Romance’), Carrie Anne Hunt (‘Magic Mike XXL’), Michael M. Jones (‘P. Valley’), and Sasha McKoon.
This season delves into the coven’s journey as they push their magical abilities to new limits, uncovering hidden secrets that draw dangerous adversaries into their midst.
