The popular Disney+ series “Goosebumps” is returning for an exciting second season, promising a fresh storyline, a new cast, and a captivating setting to enthrall audiences once again.

Deadline brings the latest casting updates, revealing that Sam McCarthy (“Dead to Me”) and Jayden Bartels (“Side Hustle”) will portray fraternal twins Devin and Cece, while Elijah Cooper (“That Girl Lay Lay”) takes on the role of CJ. Joining them are Galilea La Salvia (“Party Down”) as Frankie and Francesca Noel (“R#J”) as Alex.

Previously announced stars David Schwimmer (“American Crime Story”) and Ana Ortiz (“Monster High 2”) will also feature prominently in the upcoming season. Schwimmer portrays Anthony, the father of Devin and Cece, who reunites with his children for the summer.

Based on R.L. Stine’s beloved book series, “Goosebumps” Season 2 unfolds with a gripping premise:

“Teenage siblings discover a threat within their home, setting off a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, the duo find themselves entangled in the story of five teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.”

In the first season, viewers were immersed in a chilling tale as a group of high schoolers delved into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of a teenager named Harold Biddle decades earlier. Unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past, they navigated a twisted journey filled with suspense and intrigue.

As anticipation mounts for the return of “Goosebumps,” fans can look forward to another thrilling installment packed with suspense, mystery, and unexpected twists.
