“Where the Devil Roams” – Upcoming Film by the Creators of ‘Hellbender’ Scheduled for November Release
The Adams Family, known for their films like “The Deeper You Dig” and “Hellbender,” is back with their latest creation, “Where the Devil Roams.” This new film is set to hit theaters on November 3, and it will be available for rent or purchase on cable and digital platforms starting November 7, following an exclusive run on Tubi.
“Where the Devil Roams” is a Depression-era tale that revolves around a family of murderous sideshow performers as they navigate the dwindling carnival circuit. The film stars Toby Poser, Zelda Adams, and John Adams, who also take on the roles of writers and directors.
The movie kicks off with a striking black and white prologue lasting 16 minutes, featuring a legless orator reciting a poem about the fallen angel Abaddon to a captivated theater audience.
Adam Lewinson from Tubi expressed, “Tubi is a prime destination for horror fans. We have long seen a hunger for the horror genre on the platform and we continue to super serve these viewers with compelling titles like ‘Where The Devil Roams’ that have broad appeal.”
Early reviews suggest that the film successfully captures the atmosphere of its time period with its period costumes and camera techniques, although some critics believe that it could benefit from a tighter focus.
Mark your calendars for this period horror movie’s release in theaters and on digital platforms this November.
