Dakota Fanning is set to collaborate with director Bryan Bertino (‘The Strangers’, ‘Dark and the Wicked’) for the horror film ‘Vicious‘, which has a new release date.

Paramount Pictures will premiere ‘Vicious’ on February 28, 2025, moving it up from its original date of August 8, 2025.

The film follows a young woman who must fight for her survival as she descends into a chilling nightmare triggered by a mysterious gift from a late-night visitor.

Joining Fanning in the cast are Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, Rachel Blanchard, and Devyn Nekoda.

Bertino wrote the screenplay and will direct the film, produced by Atlas Independent. Melinda Whitaker is serving as executive producer, with Richard Suckle also producing.
