Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Joe Manganiello Unite for Shout Studios Thriller ‘The Kill Room’

Exciting news from Variety today reveals that Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Joe Manganiello will be joining forces in the upcoming thrilling film, “The Kill Room,” produced by Shout Studios.

Directed by Nicol Paone and written by Jonathan Jacobson, “The Kill Room” is a darkly comedic thriller that centers around an art dealer played by Thurman. She teams up with a hitman portrayed by Manganiello and his boss portrayed by Jackson, embarking on a money laundering scheme. However, the plan takes an unexpected turn, transforming the hired killer into an overnight sensation in the avant-garde art world. The art dealer finds herself caught between the realms of art and crime, playing both against each other.

Jordan Fields, Senior VP of Acquisitions and Originals at Shout, expressed confidence in the film’s appeal, stating, “‘The Kill Room’ is a sharp, darkly comic evisceration of the art collecting scene, delivered with wily relish by Uma Thurman and director Nicol Paone. The talented cast also includes Debi Mazar, Dree Hemingway, Amy Keum, Candy Buckley, Larry Pine, Jennifer Kim, Matthew Maher, Tom Pecinka, and Alexander Sokovikov.

Yale Productions, known for backing the indie horror film “The Wrath of Becky,” produced “The Kill Room” in collaboration with Idiot Savant Pictures.
