This installment presents five chilling horror stories, crafted by talented filmmakers known for their work in films like The Black Phone, Hellraiser, and Scream. In V/H/S/85, these unsettling tales are unveiled through a made-for-TV documentary format. Prepare for scientists observing an unusual boy with a TV fixation, kids embarking on a lake skiing adventure, a TV crew fighting for survival amidst a natural disaster, the awakening of terror in the early days of VR, and a deadly dream captured on tape.

V/H/S/85 joins the growing V/H/S franchise, which includes films like V/H/S, V/H/S/2, V/H/S: Viral, V/H/S/94, V/H/S/99, and the spinoff feature SiREN.

1. David Bruckner: Known for his segment “Amateur Night” in the first V/H/S, Bruckner is celebrated for his work in films like The Night House and the Hellraiser reimagining.
2. Scott Derrickson: Recognized for Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Derrickson directed the original horror blockbuster The Black Phone and Marvel’s Doctor Strange.
3. Gigi Saul Guerrero: This Mexican filmmaker made her mark with the gruesome short film “El Gigante” and directed projects like Bingo Hell and Culture Shock for Blumhouse.
4. Natasha Kermani: Rising talent known for indie hits like Imitation Girl and Lucky, Kermani is set to captivate audiences with her segment.
5. Mike P. Nelson: Director of The Domestics and the thrilling Wrong Turn remake, Nelson brings his unique vision to the V/H/S world.
