This thriller marks Shyamalan’s sixteenth film in his Oscar-nominated career and is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 2, 2024.

Saleka Shyamalan stars as the fictional pop star Lady Raven, alongside Josh Hartnett, who plays a father attending a concert with his teenage daughter. They soon discover they are at the center of a dark and sinister event.

Hartnett recently described the film as “very bizarre” and “very dark.”

According to IMDb, the cast of *Trap* also features Hayley Mills, Marnie McPhail, Vanessa Smythe, Scott Ian MacDougall, Kristi Woods, and Cali Lorella.

This film is the first collaboration between Shyamalan and Warner Bros. under a new multi-year first-look directing and producing agreement.
