Thanksgiving is a time for feasts, family, fun, and to give thanks for all that you have. It is also time to be festive for some gory and corny Thanksgiving horror flicks. This list will get you amped up for Thanksgiving with blood and gore, as we will be listing the top 10 horror movies to consume this November to get you ready for the Thanksgiving holiday.
10. Kristy (2014)
Kristy is a 2014 film about a college girl who has been left all alone on campus over the Thanksgiving break and she must overcome the odds when she is hunted down by a group of unknown outcasts. The synopsis reads, “When a college girl who is alone on campus over the Thanksgiving break is targeted by a group of outcasts, she must conquer her deepest fears to outwit them and fight back.” The film stars Haley Bennett, Ashley Greene, Lucas Till, Erica Ash, Mathew S. Patrick, Chris Coy, Mike Seal, Lucius Falick, James Ransone, and Al Vicente.
9. Blood Freak (1972)
Blood Freak screams the Thanksgiving massacre and is done so iconically from the 1970s. A biker ends up testing some chemicals after obtaining a job at a turkey farm that has some interesting side effects, to say the least. The synopsis reads, “A biker gets a job at a turkey farm and agrees to act as a guinea pig for some chemicals that need to be tested, failing to anticipate the murderous side effects.” The film stars Steve Hawkes, Dana Cullivan, Larry Wright, Heather Hughes, and Randy Grinter.

ThanXgiving brings a Blair Witch Project vibe into the mix with a group of film students traveling deep into the woods to make a movie and things just go wrong from there. Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County has a mysterious blackout, in which aliens follow a set of siblings to their home and cause mayhem. Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead is an interesting take on zombified chickens that attempt to kill workers of a restaurant that has been built on their land. Séance is just as the title states, using the means of a séance to rid their dorm of a troubled girl’s ghost, but bring the girl’s killer back instead.
