“Titan”: Jessica Rothe and Kiana Madeira to Star in Horror Film Directed by Mike P. Nelson, Known for ‘Wrong Turn’
Director Mike P. Nelson, known for his works like “The Domestics,” “Wrong Turn 2021,” and “V/H/S/94,” has unveiled his next thrilling project. According to Deadline, the upcoming film titled “Titan” is set to feature Kiana Madeira from “Fear Street” and Jessica Rothe from “Happy Death Day” in leading roles.
Described as an “action-adventure-horror-thriller,” “Titan” will unfold against the backdrop of Brazil’s Curuçá River. The story follows a team of young doctors on a humanitarian mission through the Amazon rainforest, where they encounter unexpected dangers. Their presence attracts the attention of an ancient predator known as the Boiúna, setting the stage for a harrowing battle for survival that blurs the lines between hunter, prey, and hero.
Nelson co-wrote the script with Alan B. McElroy, known for his work on “Wrong Turn.” Production companies Constantin Film (known for “Resident Evil”) and JB Pictures are backing “Titan,” with Robert Kulzer and Jeremy Bolt serving as producers.
