Michael Felker’s feature directorial debut, Things Will Be Different, is a gripping sci-fi thriller with a twist, produced by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Spring, The Endless). The film, which garnered critical acclaim during its festival run earlier this year, has now been picked up by Magnet Releasing for a Halloween release.

Things Will Be Different will hit theaters on October 4, 2024, with a day-and-date release.

The film centers on estranged siblings who, after a robbery, retreat to a hidden rural safe house only to discover they are not alone. Adam David Thompson and Riley Dandy star as Joseph and Sidney, the siblings on the run. The cast also includes Chloe Skoczen, Justin Benson, Jori Lynn Felker, and Sarah Bolger.

Michael Felker, known for his work editing time-bending films like Something in the Dirt, *Synchronic*, The Endless, and Spring, brings his expertise to his directorial debut. His film fits seamlessly into the Benson/Moorhead cinematic universe, exploring a fractured sibling relationship tested by enigmatic forces.
