The classic fairy tale “Beauty and the Beast” is getting a dark and twisted makeover in the upcoming horror movie ‘Belle’ precedently reported by Scotty here at Gore Culture.” The film follows Belle, a young woman who will do anything to save her ailing father. She journeys in search of a mythical rose that is believed to be a cure, but instead, she finds herself trapped in a dark and twisted world ruled by a vicious beast.

The film is set in Iceland and was shot in black and white, giving it a haunting and atmospheric feel. The trailer for the film gives us a glimpse of the terrifying creature that Belle must face, and it’s clear that this is not going to be a traditional retelling of the fairy tale.

“Belle” is sure to be a hit with fans of horror movies and fairy tale retellings. The film looks like it will be a dark and suspenseful ride, and I’m excited to see how it turns out.

The film is written and directed by Max Gold, and it stars Andrea Snædal, Ingi Hrafn Hilmarsson, Hana Vagnerová, Gudmundur Thorvaldsson, Helga Braga Jónsdóttir, and Sigurður Sigurjónsson. The film is set to be released in select theaters on July 14 and on-demand on August 22.
