Blumhouse and Amazon Studios have released a first look at the new slasher villain for their upcoming film Totally Killer. The villain, known as the Sweet Sixteen Killer, is described as a “frightening, fresh new face joining iconic villains from Blumhouse’s horror canon.”

The Sweet Sixteen Killer will make its debut in Totally Killer, which is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on October 6, 2023. The film is rated R for “bloody violence, language, sexual material, and teen drug/alcohol use.”

Totally Killer is a slasher-comedy that follows Jamie (Kiernan Shipka), a teenager who is transported back in time to 1987 to stop the Sweet Sixteen Killer, a masked maniac who slaughtered a group of teenage girls in the past. Jamie teams up with her teenage mother (Olivia Holt) to take down the killer before he can strike again.

The film is directed by Nahnatchka Khan (Always Be My Maybe, Young Rock) and written by Jen D’Angelo (Happy Death Day 2U). The cast also includes Julie Bowen, Randall Park, Lochlyn Munro, Charlie Gillespie, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Ella Choi, Kelcey Mawema, Liana Liberato, Nathaniel Appiah, and Jonathan Potts.

Totally Killer is the latest in a string of successful horror films from Blumhouse. The studio has produced such hits as Get Out, The Purge, and Halloween. Totally Killer is sure to be a must-see for fans of the genre.
