The smart home psychological horror movie Motion Detected will be released on video on demand in North America, according to Freestyle Digital Media. The “spine-chilling feature” depicts the tale of a traumatized survivor who soon finds herself in much more peril and at the mercy of her own home. It was written and directed by Justin Gallaher and Sam Roseme.

On May 19, Motion Detected will be available on VOD and Digital HD platforms like iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, Comcast, and Verizon after having its world premiere at the 2022 Dances With Films Festival.

Here is a summary of the entire plot: “During a recent frightening house invasion in Mexico City, Eva barely avoided being killed. She and her spouse make the decision to move to Los Angeles so that she can recover. But when her husband must go to work, she is left alone in a strange environment and is paranoid.

The smart home security system comforts her, but because it’s complicated to use, she begins to worry about whether it will genuinely keep her safe or take over her life.

Natasha Esca (“Narcos: Mexico”), Katelyn MacMullen (“General Hospital”), Roland Buck III (“Chicago Med”), Carlo Mendez (“The Bay”), Julie Brister (“Goliath”), and Bob Clendenin (“Cougar Town”) are among the actors who appear in Motion Detected.

Executive Producer is Joe Poletto with Asterlight Production.
