A chilling mystery unfolds as a group of teenagers ventures into the wilderness, never to return, in the spine-tingling Irish found footage thriller, “The Glenarma Tapes.” Offering a glimpse into the impending terror, a new trailer sets the stage for the harrowing journey that awaits the unfortunate souls.

Dark Sky Films is set to release “The Glenarma Tapes” on VOD and Digital platforms on April 2, 2024, inviting audiences to delve into the heart of darkness.

Set against the backdrop of Spring 2020, the film delves into the unsettling disappearance of five students and two faculty members from the Mid Ulster College of Art. Vanishing without a trace in a forest on the north coast of Ireland, their fate remained shrouded in mystery until a police operation unearthed chilling footage, revealing their final moments. Witnessing something beyond comprehension, the group’s journey into the unknown takes a sinister turn, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

Starring Warren McCook, Sophie Hill, Ryan Early, and Emily Lamey, “The Glenarma Tapes” promises a gripping performance from its ensemble cast.

Actor Tony Devlin, known for his work in “Kneecap” and “Band of Brothers,” steps into the director’s chair for his feature debut, co-writing the script alongside Paul Kennedy of “House of the Dragon” fame.

Premiering at FrightFest last year, “The Glenarma Tapes” captivated audiences with its blend of suspense and supernatural intrigue, marking a promising addition to the found footage horror genre.
