Director Thomas Cailley brings us an innovative thriller in Magnet’s “The Animal Kingdom,” thrusting viewers into a realm where human genetics undergo mutations, leading to the emergence of hybrid beings. In “The Animal Kingdom,” François (played by Roman Duris) endeavors to rescue his wife, who falls victim to this enigmatic condition. As some of the mutated beings vanish into the nearby forest, François, accompanied by his 16-year-old son Emile (played by Paul Kircher), embarks on a quest to locate her, aided by a local police officer portrayed by Adèle Exarchopoulos.
