‘Terrifier 3′ Casts Lauren LaVera to Return as Sienna!’
Damien Leone’s highly anticipated horror sequel, ‘Terrifier 3,’ is set to haunt screens next Halloween, and the thrilling news is in—Lauren LaVera is officially onboard!
Cineverse, partnering with Bloody Disgusting, unveiled the return of Lauren LaVera in the upcoming unrated slasher, ‘Terrifier 3,’ reprising her impactful role as Sienna.
LaVera’s compelling portrayal in the ultra-gory ‘Terrifier 2’ made her a standout, earning widespread acclaim as the rising star in the horror realm. Fans embraced her as the formidable Final Girl, evident from Sienna-inspired costumes flooding conventions and Halloween events this year.
Now, as the chilling saga continues in Damien Leone’s ‘Terrifier 3,’ LaVera returns to guide audiences through spine-tingling nightmares as Art the Clown unleashes terror upon the unsuspecting residents of Miles County on Christmas Eve.
“I’m thrilled to reprise my role in ‘Terrifier 3,'” expressed LaVera. “Damien’s vision for Sienna is extraordinary, and I’m excited to witness the evolution of my character. It’s been surreal to see the overwhelming support from fans for Sienna, and I commend Damien for introducing a robust female character, the angelic yet courageous heroine, standing against Art the Clown’s brutal antics. I can’t wait for viewers to experience Sienna’s next chapter as Damien delves deeper into her story.”
Leone praised LaVera, stating, “Lauren was the heartbeat of ‘Terrifier 2,’ and her character is pivotal for the next chapter. Her presence brings a unique essence to the film, essential for the continuation of our spine-chilling narrative. Sienna’s journey, grappling with intense trauma from prior events, and her eventual confrontation with Art, forms the compelling essence of this franchise.”
Deadline first reported this, confirming David Howard Thornton’s return as Art the Clown, along with AEW superstar Chris Jericho, Samantha Scaffidi, and Elliot Fullam reprising their roles from the previous installment.
Leone teased details to Deadline, sharing insights into the production. “We’re gearing up for shooting in February. We’re in the thick of it—casting, securing locations, crafting special effects, and fine-tuning scripts. This movie is a dream come true for me; I’m ecstatic about it.”
He further hinted at the sequel’s storyline, set to follow the chaotic events of the asylum from ‘Terrifier 2’ and the entwined fate of Art and Victoria. Additional casting is underway for this eagerly awaited slasher, scheduled to commence filming early next year. ‘Terrifier 3’ is slated for a nationwide theatrical release on October 25, 2024, distributed in North America by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting, facilitated by The Coven, managing international rights.
Produced by Phil Falcone, Steven Della Salla, Jason Leavy, and Michael Leavy, ‘Terrifier 3’ boasts an executive lineup including Chris McGurk, Brad Miska, Brandon Hill, Yolanda Macias, Cairo Ben Amen II, Joshua Anderson, Steven Caruso, Lisa Falcone, Hank Greenberg, Marcus McGill, Larry Bilello, Steven Barton, and Thomas Smith.
