Following its impressive global box office earnings exceeding $100 million, Disney has unveiled exciting news for Halloween enthusiasts. This year’s highly anticipated Haunted Mansion movie is making its way to Disney+.

Mark your calendars for October 4, 2023, when the Haunted Mansion will materialize on Disney+ screens.

Directed by Justin Simien, this adaptation of the beloved theme park attraction marks Disney’s second foray into bringing the spooky property to life, with Eddie Murphy leading the previous adaptation in 2003.

The star-studded cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, and Danny DeVito, with Jamie Lee Curtis taking on the role of Madame Leota and Jared Leto embodying the Hatbox Ghost.

In this enigmatic adventure, a doctor (Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Chase Dillon), seeking a fresh start, relocate to a curiously affordable mansion in New Orleans. Little do they know that the place holds secrets far beyond their imagination. In their time of need, they reach out to a priest (Wilson), who, in a twist of fate, enlists the help of a widowed scientist-turned-failed-paranormal expert (Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Haddish), and a cantankerous historian (DeVito).

Prepare for a spine-tingling journey through the unknown as Disney’s Haunted Mansion haunts your screens this Halloween season.
