‘Missing’ release date, Sony’s sequel to ‘Searching’ the screen-life Thriller has been changed. The new release date will see the film in theatres on January 20, 2023.

Storm Reid and Nia Long star in Missing, with the cast also including Joaquim de Almeida, Ken Leung, Amy Landecker, Daniel Henney, Megan Suri, and Tim Griffin. Will Merrick & Nick Johnson will direct for Sony’s Stage 6 Films.

Deadline reports, “Searching 2‘s plot is still under wraps, but it will feature a new set of characters and an evolved Screenlife thriller format where the story plays out on the screens of the characters’ devices. The original starred John Cho as a dad who breaks into his daughter’s computer when she goes missing, in a desperate attempt to track her down.
