Sony Set to Unleash Snow Beast in Survival Horror Film ‘Yeti’
Sony and Picturestart have acquired the spec script for an intense survival horror film titled “Yeti,” written by Peter Gaffney, known for “Don’t Go into the Water.” Deadline reports tonight that the deal involves a substantial payment in the “mid-six against high six-figures” range.
“Yeti” plunges audiences deep into the unforgiving mountains, where an avalanche triggers the release of a primal terror from the icy depths. As the story unfolds, a father and his daughter find themselves locked in a brutal struggle for survival against a relentless predator camouflaged within the snow.
Producer Jon Silk, recognized for his work on “The Black Demon,” is set to bring “Yeti” to life.
