Prepare for a wild and hilarious horror-comedy experience with “Slotherhouse,” coming to theaters nationwide on August 30, 2023, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. The film introduces Alpha, a killer sloth who takes center stage in this collegiate nightmare.

Directed by Matthew Goodhue, “Slotherhouse” follows the story of Emily Young, a college senior vying to become the president of her sorority, Sigma Lambda Theta. As the sorority prepares for elections, Emily sees herself as the perfect candidate. However, her campaign takes an unexpected turn when she encounters an adorable sloth that captures her heart. Little does she know that this cuddly creature, named Alpha, will soon become their new house mascot and bring unimaginable chaos.

As bodies start to pile up in the Sigma Lambda Theta house, Emily and her sorority sisters realize that the deaths are linked to their seemingly harmless new house mascot. Alpha, the death sloth with three razor-sharp claws, unleashes terror upon the sorority, leaving the young women fighting for their lives. Will they be able to escape the wrath of this killer sloth, or will Alpha prove too quick and deadly for them?

The film features a talented cast, including Lisa Ambalavanar, Sydney Craven, Olivia Rouyre, Bianca Beckles-Rose, Andrew Horton, Sutter Nolan, Grace Patterson, Milica Vrzić, Annamaria Serda, Rudi Rok, Tiff Stevenson, and Stefan Kapičić.

Bradley Fowler penned the screenplay, based on a story by Fowler and Cady Lanigan.

Nick Royak of Iconic Events Releasing expressed excitement about “Slotherhouse,” emphasizing the film’s unique blend of reckless abandon and genre thrills. This horror-comedy promises to scratch an itch we never knew we had, providing an entertaining and unconventional movie experience.
