Shudder Welcomes You to Experience ‘Hell Hole’ This August
Ahead of its world premiere at Fantasia this summer, the latest film from The Adams Family, known for works like “Hellbender” and “Where the Devil Roams,” has unveiled its official poster.
Set to debut on Shudder on August 23, “Hell Hole” explores a journey through Canadian oil fields that sparked the imagination of the Adams family, leading to the creation of this indie rock-n-roll monster movie set at a distant fracking site.
Renowned for their hands-on approach, John and Lulu Adams, along with Toby Poser, have teamed up with Shudder for this project. They’ve also collaborated with The Last Drive-In’s Joe Bob Briggs and FX specialist Todd Masters to film their latest venture in Serbia, employing a local cast and crew.
Described as absurd, rebellious, and humorously provocative, “Hell Hole” harkens back to classic sci-fi horror while defying genre norms with its exploration of biological and environmental horror themes intertwined with issues of gender and bodily autonomy.
The cast features Toby Poser, John Adams, Max Portman, Anders Hove, Olivera Perunicic, Aleksandar Trmcic, Petar Arsic, and Bruno Veljanovski.
