Back in 2004, Lionsgate initiated the very first Saw Blood Drive, a promotional initiative that soon became synonymous with the franchise. Now, as the brand-new movie, Saw X, prepares to hit theaters later this month, the Saw Blood Drive is back in action this Halloween season!

Saw X is set to hit theaters on September 29, 2023, and Lionsgate has just unveiled the official Saw X Blood Drive. In celebration of the return of this blood-curdling campaign, two gruesome posters have been released, which you can feast your eyes on below.

The concept behind the Saw X Blood Drive is to encourage horror enthusiasts to donate life-saving blood while eagerly anticipating the release of Saw X. The campaign welcomes donors of all blood types, emphasizing the importance of this act.

The official Saw account tweeted, “Bleed for me…and help those in need. More coming soon.”

The Saw Blood Drive was a yearly tradition spanning from 2004 through 2009, during which horror fans donated over 100,000 pints of blood to the American Red Cross. Often, donors were rewarded with free movie tickets, and a similar approach will likely be employed this year.
