‘Santa’s List’: A Christmas Slasher Set to Deck the Halls at Santa Claus Festival
In the tradition of Yuletide horrors like “Christmas Evil,” “Black Christmas,” and “Silent Night, Deadly Night,” a fresh Christmas slasher film titled “Santa’s List” is currently in production.
Director Jhené Chase takes the reins for this yuletide bloodfest, described as a “festive Christmas version of your favorite slashers.” The movie unfolds in Deep Haven, a town known for its year-round Santa Claus festival that keeps the Christmas spirit alive. However, beneath the holiday cheer, tinsel, and twinkling lights, a sinister darkness lurks. This year, the traditional 12 days of Christmas take a dark and deadly turn.
The film’s premise revolves around big city detective Eve, who is reluctantly drawn back to her hometown to solve the murder of her best friend. As each victim falls, the killer seems to inch closer to home. Will Eve unravel the mystery behind “my true love gave to me” before it’s too late? Or will Santa check off the final name on his chilling list?
The screenplay for this holiday horror is penned by Hamid and Camille Torabpour, and it will be produced by Jhené Chase, Hamid and Camille Torabpour, Nick Hagen, Dr. Mark Smith, and Winter State Entertainment.
