Fresh off her success in last year’s Hulu hit “Prey,” Amber Midthunder is set to take the lead in the upcoming A24 horror movie titled “Opus,” as reported by Deadline.

The cast also includes Ayo Edebiri (“The Bear”), John Malkovich (“Billions”), Murray Bartlett (“The White Lotus”), Stephanie Suganami (“Power Book II: Ghost”), Young Mazino (“Beef”), and Tatanka Means (“Killers of the Flower Moon”). Additionally, Juliette Lewis (“Yellowjackets”) is currently in talks to join the ensemble.

According to Deadline, the globally released A24 film revolves around the return of an iconic pop star after a decades-long disappearance.

“Opus” marks the directorial debut of Mark Anthony Green, who also serves as the writer.

Deadline’s report highlights, “Additional executive producers include musical artists The-Dream and Nile Rodgers, who will also contribute original songs for the film.”
