Atomic Monster and Blumhouse have joined forces once more, this time in collaboration with Universal Pictures, to bring you the spine-tingling supernatural thriller, ‘Night Swim.’ The film, directed and written by Bryce McGuire, stars Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon in lead roles. Blumhouse recently unveiled the official trailer, and it promises to deliver a chilling experience.

‘Night Swim’ follows the story of a family whose new home conceals a horrifying supernatural presence lurking in their backyard swimming pool. With a release date set for January 5, 2024, this film is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

The trailer for ‘Night Swim’ is a tantalizing glimpse into the eerie world the movie creates, keeping crucial plot details closely guarded. As we anticipate its release, the mystery surrounding the film is bound to add to the anticipation.

Based on the well-received 2014 short film by Rod Blackhurst and Bryce McGuire, ‘Night Swim’ stars Wyatt Russell as Ray Waller, a former major league baseball player forced into early retirement due to a degenerative illness. He relocates to a new home with his concerned wife Eve, played by Oscar® nominee Kerry Condon, alongside their teenage daughter Izzy, portrayed by Amélie Hoeferle, and young son Elliot, played by Gavin Warren.

Ray’s secret hope of making a comeback in professional baseball persuades Eve that their new home’s sparkling backyard swimming pool will offer enjoyment for their children and serve as a form of physical therapy for him. However, an ominous secret from the house’s past will unleash a malevolent force that threatens to drag the entire family into the depths of inescapable terror.

‘Night Swim’ is a collaboration between director Bryce McGuire, producer James Wan (known for the Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring franchises), and producer Jason Blum (producer of the Halloween films, The Black Phone, and The Invisible Man). The film is also executive produced by Michael Clear and Judson Scott for Wan’s Atomic Monster and by Ryan Turek for Blum’s Blumhouse. Brace yourself for a plunge into a world where every fear lurks just beneath the surface.
