Netflix has secured the global distribution rights for “Don’t Move,” an upcoming horror film produced by Sam Raimi‘s Raimi Productions and Hammerstone Studios (Barbarian).

Variety broke the news, reporting that Netflix has acquired the rights to “Don’t Move,” starring Kelsey Asbille (“Yellowstone”) and Finn Wittrock (“American Horror Story”).

No release date has been announced yet, but further updates are expected soon.

Directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto (known for Quibi’s horror series “50 States of Fright”), “Don’t Move” follows the chilling story of a seasoned killer who injects a grieving woman with a paralyzing agent. As her body begins to shut down, she must navigate a terrifying game of survival, running, fighting, and hiding for her life.

The screenplay for “Don’t Move” was penned by T.J. Cimfel and David White (creators of “Intruders”).

Produced in collaboration with Capstone Studios, the film boasts an ensemble of talents, including Kelsey Asbille and Finn Wittrock. Schindler and Netto expressed their excitement about working with such a stellar team, highlighting the involvement of Raimi Productions, Capstone, and Hammerstone as major assets to the project.

Sam Raimi himself shared his enthusiasm for the film, emphasizing its gripping narrative and promising to deliver a thrilling horror experience to audiences.

As anticipation builds, horror fans can look forward to the bone-chilling suspense of “Don’t Move,” sure to keep them on the edge of their seats.
